Admins use the desktop and laptop information collected by the Endpoint Verification option on the console of G Suite admin account. Get Assistance on How to Install Native Helper App & Endpoint Verification Extension on macOS

Not only native helper app but, endpoint verification extension is also required to be present on mac as well as Windows OS. Both these might get installed manually. When an individual is logged in into his or her G Suite tenant, he or she can install Endpoint Verification extension initially, which is present in the Chrome web store. Once the extension gets successfully installed, you’ll encounter a message in which you will be asked to install the native helper utility. At the time of installation, a user has to read and agree the terms for using the extension. For small firms with less devices, this idea might prove itself easiest for the setup purpose. Alternatively, there are two options for the installation of Endpoint Verification extension for Chrome on macOS and Windows:

  • Enforce Chrome standards at the time of signing in the G Suite account, or
  • Deploy a set of Chrome policies with a different policy management system

In either situation, if you don’t find it suitable to manually install the helper utility, you will have to opt for native product for macOS or Windows with 3rd party management platform.
